Trust depends on accuracy, permissions and reliable execution.<\/p>\n<h2>Personalities optimize for continuity<\/h2>\n<p>An AI personality is valuable when users recognize an identity and want to return to it. Memory, tone, visual consistency and relationship context become central.<\/p>\n<h2>The interfaces may converge<\/h2>\n<p>A companion can eventually perform useful actions, while an agent can develop a preferred tone. But product priorities still differ: autonomy is core to agents; identity is core to personalities.<\/p>\n<h2>Different business models<\/h2>\n<p>Agents may monetize productivity or transactions.
